This free event will be held at the Master Gardener Demonstration Garden at the Robert C. Parker School, 4254 Route 43 in Wynantskill. A plant sale featuring beautiful perennials will be offered as well as a garden “Question and Answer” table and White Elephant Sale. The theme gardens, including herbs, ornamental grasses, prairie-style plantings, butterfly garden and fragrance garden, will be in full summer glory for the visitors. Master Gardeners and Extension staff will provide education talks on the following schedule: 11:00 AM – Making Garden Totems (Unique Garden Ornaments); 12:00 Noon – Dividing Daylilies and Other Perennials; 1:00 PM – Soil pH Without A Ph.D (bring a soil sample for testing).
