Digital Literacy Program Offerings

CCE Digital Literacy programs can be tailored to the specific needs of your institution. Our programs in partnership with Rensselaer County libraries have included classes on computer and Internet basics, getting started with e-mail, staying safe online, and more. 

Programs are typically designed around the interests and needs of the community. Classes are hands-on, with participants following along on laptops or other devices. Class participants are encouraged  to bring their questions (and their devices).

In addition to formal classes, the CCE Digital Literacy educator is available for scheduled drop-in hours. During drop-in hours, library patrons can receive one-on-one help with more targeted questions and tasks, including account set-up and privacy strategies.
