We are excited to offer a hands-on Veterinary Science Program for youth in grades 7 through 12, running from February 18th to February 21st, 2025. This engaging and educational series is perfect for animal enthusiasts and aspiring veterinarians eager to explore the world of animal care and health.

Participants will have the unique opportunity to learn from seasoned professionals, gain valuable insights into veterinary science, and develop practical skills that can last a lifetime. Each session focuses on a different aspect of animal health and veterinary care:

Session 1: Animal Wellness

Date & Time: Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at 6:30 PM – 8pm

Location: Brunswick Veterinary Hospital, 1632 NY 7, Troy, NY, 12180

Session 2: Animal Behavior

Date & Time: Wednesday, February 19, 2025, 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Location: Mohawk Humane Society, 3 Oakland Ave, Menands, NY, 12204

Session 3: Animal first aid

Date & Time: Thursday, February 20, 2025, 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Location: Cornell Cooperative Extension Rensselaer County, 99 Troy Road, Suite 203, East Greenbush, NY 12061

Session 4: Animal and Public Health

Date & Time: Friday, February 21, 2025, 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM

The Rensselaer County 4-H program  provides hands-on learning experiences that help youth develop skills, build confidence, and grow as leaders.
