Join us this Winter Break for a hands-on Fiber & Sewing Experience designed for youth (aged 9+) who love crafting, creating, and learning new skills.
Wednesday, February 18- Morning Session (optional)
Community Service & Sewing Machine Basics
Start the day by giving back! We'll work on a community service project, and participants will have dedicated time to get to know their sewing machines- perfect for beginners or anyone wanting a refresher.
Participants may register for just the morning session or stay for the full experience.
Wednesday, February 18- Afternoon Session- Careers in Fiber & Hands-On Fiber Arts
Learn from industry experts about exciting careers in fiber making! Then dive into creating your own yarn and experimenting with dying techniques. This begins the day-and-a-half Fiber Experience.
Thursday, February 19- Create Your Own Wool Cowl
We'll reunite to transform your hand-dyed fibers into a cozy wool cowl(scarf). This session brings together all the skills learned and materials created on Day 1.
