Join us for the fourth event of our Sustainability Series! Learn
how to create an ecologically abundant environment without
compromising aesthetic. From the 16th Century when cleared area was
created for livestock protection to the 17th Century when a large lawn
was a symbol of wealth to the 20th Century when a lawn was a norm, the
lawn has served various purposes. However, has "the lawn" outlived its
usefulness? What are the alternatives? We explore the why and how of
creating a more ecologically rich environment while maintaining
aesthetic appeal. Principles of permaculture and regenerative gardening
inform various approaches.
Registration is required. Registration for this event will open on August 4th and will be done on the East Greenbush Community Library website. Visit their website at https://eglibrary.org/
