Farm Day Out 2026

We are pleased to invite community members to Farm Day Out at Mill Pond Alpacas at 11 Old Mill Pond Road, Nassau, NY on Saturday, September 26, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. as part of National Alpaca Farm Days Weekend.
This free family-friendly event offers visitors the opportunity to experience alpacas up close while learning about fiber agriculture and the journey from fiber animal to finished product. Guests can enjoy photo opportunities with alpacas, explore fiber animals, pick their own pumpkins, and browse offerings from local vendors.
Farm Day Out is designed to connect families with local agriculture through hands-on learning and fun activities for all ages. Whether you are curious about alpacas, interested in local agriculture, or simply looking for a fun fall outing, there will be something for everyone to enjoy.
